Hello to all the Distant Stitchers who now know the wonders of blogging!
I have arrived home to 8 metres of black fabric to be made into 3 ninja outfits for Friday morning! NO SLEEP FOR ME for a few more nights atleast. I have downloaded my photos from the camera and will hopefully begin to add them to this blog a.s.a.p.
Hope you all had a safe journey home and are fully charged with enthusiasm to complete you modules by Christmas!!!!! I know I am up for the challenge, anyone else?
Best wishes
Alison

February's Work
I have been busy during February, making a conscious effort to work on the final chapters of module 2, although a bit of quilting has been done!
Five samples of how the apron panels may look were fun to make. It gave me the imputus to get on with it. I feel the need to crack on and get the apron made. Module 3 is within grasp!

A New Year and the end of the first month!
This month has whizzed by, work has been done to the apron sample and all it needs now is the thread to hold all the "squares" together.

Current Status of Module 2
I have been gathering my samples together. These are the fabrics I feel will be useful for the making of the apron. I have worked on the shape of the "squares" for the apron as it will be made up of individual squares which will be sewn or held together so that they look like armour plating as in the armadillo skin. The end of the year approaches and Christmas and all that it entails come nearer and nearer so time will have to be used wisely. Oh Father Christmas, please bring me a time machine this year!
