March seems so long ago!

Since the last blog I've been to Rome...

Returned home to sit in hospital while my Son had two operations for an abscess , sat in another hospital while my Husband had an angioplasty, thinking he was having a heart attack - fortunately it was Pericarditis and he is now recovering, been very busy with plenty of orders that seem to have short deadlines, been to the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court for two silk shading courses, celebrated my Daughter's 17th Birthday and changed my medication for rheumatoid arthritis only to find that this one has yet to kick in (two weeks later) which is making me feel frayed at the edges with the joint pain.

BUT I have done some course work!

AND I am planning to do some more!

And we threw a coin, or two, into the Trevi Fountain so we might return to Rome one day...

Gosh Alison - no wonder you haven't had time to blog. You and your family have had a really bad run with health recently. Let's hope things improve soon- you deserve some luck. Thinking of you. Julie xxxx

I should imagine you'll be in need of another holiday after all that lot! Hoping things start to look up for you, and that you return to Rome one day.

Oh dear Alison! I am so happy to know that now things have improved, but what a time you have had. It's lovely to see your pictures from Rome, remember? we were supposed to meet but than MY son went to hospital that day ... So it was hospital time for both of us, no chance. I am so looking forward to seeing you at summer school and of course to see you in Rome very soon, and next time I shall show you around, it's a promise. Love Daniela
